Executive Director
Alex Miller
Alex has been at Millikin since 2008 where he teaches all levels of acting as well as stage combat. In addition, Alex directs on the Mainstage, serves as resident Fight Director, and founded Shakespeare Corrected in 2012. As a professional artist who has been based out of New York, Chicago, Boston, and Washington, D.C., his professional acting credits include, Antonio in The Merchant of Venice (Texas Shakespeare Festival), Duke Senior in As You Like It (Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey - tour), Antonio in The Tempest (Arkansas Repertory Theatre), Bernard in Arcadia (The Rep Stage), and the King of France in Henry V (Heart of America Shakespeare Festival). As a director, a few of his credits include Macbeth, Measure for Measure, The Tempest, As You Like It, Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Lie of the Mind. As a recognized Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, he has directed the violence in Romeo and Juliet, My Favorite Year, Six Characters in Search of an Author, as well as other productions.

Dana Anderson
Dana is an alum of Millikin University (2014) and currently resides in Chicago. She is excited to enter her fifth year with Shakespeare Corrected. She is a teaching artist, director, and actor in the city. She is a company member with AstonRep Theatre Company (The Black Slot), and has worked with Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre (Blood Brothers), Kokandy Productions (Full Monty), Shawnee Summer Theatre, The New Colony, and Quest Theatre Ensemble. As an educator, she is a teaching artist with Mudlark Theater Company and Compass Creative Dramatics. She has also taught with American Theater Company, Fargo Moorhead Community Theatre, Shawnee Summer Theatre, and Improv Playhouse.
